About Us

Hi! Glad to have you here! My name is Elizabeth. I am an Army Medic Veteran and work in the filed of mental health currently. When I am off the clock and home with my family we work together to create beautiful crafts which makes up Fire and FIber. I have 3 beautiful daughters whom are so very amazing and talented. I have my oldest who is a sourdough queen and a hand-crochet enthusiast. Next, my middle daughter who is amazing at creating beautiful digital art and marketing, along with gorgeous journaling and scrapbooking queen. Finally I have my youngest daughter and she is my candle conessour and is responsible for helping me create beautiful soy wax candles and melts. She additionally is brilliant at sewing both by hand and machine. Together we combine our talents to create what you see and will see in the future here at Fire and Fiber. 

Why crafts? Crafts are something that brings us peace after long stressful days. The girls are very active within their school and community and after a long day they spend a half hour to an hour taking a break and just zoning out and taking a nice good brain break from the day followed by a minimum of 30 minutes dedicated to any hobby they can either reading, crochet, paint, color, journal, digital art, story writing, sewing, candle making, baking etc. to have a mindfulness break within the day to be creative and find something that calls to them. Crafting is a beautiful tool I use within the mental health world to help others find something to relax them and give them a me time that takes their stress levels to a manageable level. 

We are a group of ladies who want to share our craft, our love for art and teach crafts and help others with finding what helps them manage their daily stressors as well. We additionally enjoy selling our crafted pieces to others to share the items we put our love and hard work into.
